Inside you'll find not one, but two of our Mending Macarons - a mini and a MEGA one. Both disks are lovingly handmade by us in our Cornish workshop using locally-sourced windfallen timber and come complete with our iconic stainless steel springs, custom made for us here in the U.K.
 
We've also included a whole host of other mending supplies 'cause it's no fun having the tools, but diddly squat when it comes to sewing needles, mending threads and darning yarns etc.
 
Beautifully contained within an original vintage solid aluminum first aid box filled with 100% British eco-wool filling to cushion its precious mending cargo! Choose to keep this pillowy soft wool in place or simply remove it to free up space for storing even more repair bits 'n' bobs.
 
You'll have all the tools and supplies you need to get healing moth holes, rips, and unsightly stains with some colourful visible mending.

* Please be aware your original vintage first aid box will come with oodles of 'character' and patina i.e. obvious signs of wear and tear that shows it's true age including deep scratches, dings, rust spots, stains etc. It is not a brand new box
, but one that has lived a full life. Each box has been cleaned thoroughly, but at the same time we've tried to keep as much of the original character as possible. The rubber seal on the inside of the lid has been replaced with a fresh one to ensure the box closes securely. Please see photos for various examples in regards to the condition of the box you may receive.
